Vintage Submariner vs Modern Submariners

I understand the appeal of the vintage submariners and their classic fit and feel but I can’t ignore the build quality of the current Submariners. Ceramic bezels with the upgraded bracelets/clasps are simply unbeatable.

There is a reason why the Submariner rose in popularity and that is because the vintage references were simply perfect. Rolex wouldn’t be where they are now without the Subs from the 70’s so its hard for me to say that the modern Subs are better than the originals.

I see both points but why should we have to choose which is better? How about lets appreciate both vintage subs and modern subs for what they are. Its obvious that they are different but they are both the best of their times!
